The North Atlantic Tridents scuba diving club is a group of divers who share a common desire to dive off of the coast of New Jersey in search of adventure, camaraderie, and the thrill of the undersea hunt. Having existed for more than 30 years the Tridents are one of the most experienced clubs in New Jersey. In order to dive the way Tridents want to dive we arrange for private charters aboard the Sea Lion , which is docked in Brielle, NJ. Our exclusive private charters are for members only, and are generally limited to eight divers per. We will accomodate other divers in the rare event that a boat does not fill. In that way we keep the cost more reasonable for our members. The boats leave about twice a month (see our Schedule) from June through October. We usually make at least four dives per charter. Members are expected to have a full set of dive gear including pony bottle. While we enter the water as a group we believe in the safety and freedom of solo diving. If you are an experienced diver who loves to spearfish and hunt lobster we encourage you to take advantage of every- thing our membership has to offer.
